We had fun this holiday, Andrew learned an April Fools Day song at Preschool and sang it with such gusto. We got his friends and schoolmates good with the sprained wrist gag. However that wasn't the masterpiece we had the perfect prank planned for Jake...Jake was in Georgia and you know how you have no concept of dates when you are out of town. Well Andrew let it slip that we bought a boxer puppy and I hurried and grabbed the phone (which was all planned). So, we had him and he called all day with comments and questions like how old is she, she has to be exactly 49 days when you take her away from her mother. Or where did she sleep? In a kennel. Did you buy it because it came with a cute little kennel? You did, didn't you? We started this first thing in the morning and finally by the end of the day, (when he realized what day it was and tried to catch us but failed) we let him know we were kidding. Oh it was fun and now the kids really want a puppy, so don't be surprised if it happens!
Going to stay warm this winter.

Sadly, I think I was the only adult that fell for Andrew's trick. Ü We all know how gullible I am! I love how you guys had Jake convinced that you guys got a puppy.
Rach, I think it's time for a puppy. I really think that you guys NEED a boxer puppy in your family. Ok, maybe you just need to get one so I can come over and play with it. What is cuter than a puppy?! Ok, newborns and puppy's are a tie in my opinion.
Is it puppy's or puppies? Man, I need to go back to elementary school.
April Fools is my husband and kids favorite holiday. It was sad because Randy was out of town this year, so the kids couldn't prank him when he got home from work. They tried one on the phone but he figured it out and luckily he was too busy at his conference to get us over the phone.
Hey Rachel! I thought about you guys the other day, and I thought you probably had a blog, so I googled your name, and I found it (I hope that is okay?). I just wanted to say hi. Cute kids, cute video, cute blog!
Hey Rachel. It's MaryAnn, found your blog, you have such a cute family. It was fun reading about all that you are doing. Hope all is well.
