On Saturday I ran in the 5K race for the cure (of Cancer), it was soooo much fun. I got a great time and my husband and kids came to support me. It was good for the kids to see me doing something not for our family, but for me and my grandpa. Andrew kept telling everyone he went to his mommy's marathon, whoa don't know if that will happen in my lifetime....well never say never.
I ran the race for my grandpa Manuel Luna who is such an incredible fighter, he is doing well, but still battling it day by day. This is his second bout and he has the best attitude and is so strong. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Congrats on the race, Hope your gandpa can enjoy life without the pain and suffering. We did the MS walk in April, it was a lot of fun. I just wish I was in good enough shape to run in a marathon.
Great picture! Someday Rach, we WILL run/walk a marathon together. Even if I have to wear 3 sports bra's to control the bounching, I will do it for you. Ü
